Split Plane Simulation

Hi,

Is HyperLynx able to model tracks crossing at a split in a reference plane?  I am not too sure, however I have the feeling that HyperLynx assumes an ideal return current path..Is this true?

If this is the case, does anybody know if HyperLynx SI or PI will have the ability to simulate cases like this in the near future? ( I currently have HyperLynx SI 8.1 by the way)
